This Denver newborn portraits session was filled with some much love for this little guy! Every baby is always holds such a special place in our hearts. Roger’s birth story is one for the books. This bundle of squish was delivered at Hygge Birth & Baby. His speedy arrival came not so long after they arrived and as a bonus his big sister, Winter, was able to attend. She was able to check on her Mama during her labor and was able to be with them immediately following his delivery. Roger is named after his late grandpa and to make this all the more meaningful he was born on the morning of the 5th anniversary of his passing. They mentioned how pretty the sunrise was that morning. I would say that someone was letting them know how special this little one is!
I met them at their home on a beautiful winter morning, the lighting pouring in was perfectly diffused for in home photos. Lifestyle always allow for siblings to feel at ease and not pressured to be in a certain pose or having to be quiet in the studio space. Winter kept asking if she and her doll could “slide into a photo” it doesn’t get any cuter than that. She might have been encouraged to take photos with Grandma’s banana pudding waiting for her once she was done. I also owe credit to their pup, Ted, who was amazing!
Roger had blankets that were made for him incorporated into his session which was a very sweet touch. He was such a handsome baby with squishy cheeks. One thing is certain this family is so enamored with their newest addition and Winter slid into the role of big sister perfectly!
I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I enjoyed working with this incredibly sweet family!
