These Denver winter maternity photos are some of my most favorites to date. We both woke up to such a cold morning after the snow storm we received the night before and had thoughts of postponing. I am so thankful they decided to go for it as we had the fresh snow with the crystal backdrops of the snowy front range. This sweet couple did an ice fishing session for their engagement photos so they were up to the task. I do not think any of us could move our hands for awhile after this session but it was worth it ten times over.
Let’s just take a moment and sit here in awe of how stunning this mama-to-be looked in her gown. I hated to ask her to take her jacket off and do a few quick photos of just her in her dress against this winter wonderland backdrop. I’m not sure if I could have done it but she did and she looked absolutely breathtaking. This year I will be transitioning sessions towards more of an emotive charged feel. I completely get the need for that perfectly posed photo as well and will be incorporating the look of both. I see so much more of the love they have for each other in this session!
Our last session together was their pregnancy announcement mini photoshoot when it was much warmer outside. These two are so genuinely so much fun to be around. They are going to make amazing parents. I am beyond excited to meet their sweet one in the next month or so.
