Last week was one of the best sessions as a Ft. Collins newborn photographer. This sweet little baby is my niece and we couldn’t be more in love with her! It really does seem like last week that Josh and Sarah were giving us the amazing news that they were expecting.
Two days before Easter my sister in law went into HELLP with no warning at all. They had to do an emergency c-section that morning that she went to the hospital. Everyone was so worried about Sarah and Addie. Addie was delivered and weighed a tiny 3 pounds! She spent four weeks in the NICU at Poudre Valley Hospital. Addie has been a little fighter from the minute she was born. She looked like a miniature doll with blonde fuzzy hair. She was determined to go home and kept surpassing expectations from the doctors and nurses at PVH. I have to say that both my brother and sister in law were overwhelmed with how incredible everyone was that worked with her.
Addie came to the studio to do some wrapped photos while she was still teeny tiny. It is hard to believe how much bigger she looked than we she was born. She was shy of 5 lbs during her session. Sarah wanted to incorporate a bunny set into her gallery as she is their “little bunny” Most of my wraps were enormous on her but nevertheless she was absolute perfection in each set-up. I am so glad her Mama likes blue as she looked so pretty in the set-ups with the blue tones.
I am so excited to see Addie as she grows and fills into those long skinny legs of hers. She sure looks like her Mama right now and will be fun to see what she has of her Dad’s besides his toes. Addie is so loved and will be spoiled beyond measure by everyone around her.
I hope you enjoy these peeks of my session as much as I enjoyed having her in the studio!
