Northern Colorado gives us so much variety for maternity photos. We can create something simple and intimate in the studio, or head outdoors for foothills, open fields, water, and mountain views. I’ll help you narrow down the location, choose wardrobe that works with the setting, and guide you through posing in a way that feels natural rather than overly staged.
These photographs become a reminder of what your family looked and felt like just before everything changed again.

Denver talks more about anticipation, babymoons, Colorado destinations, and choosing between bright studio and dramatic mountain scenery. Fort Collins and Northern Colorado give us so many beautiful options for outdoor maternity photos. We can keep things close to home with locations like Horsetooth Reservoir or Devil’s Backbone, or choose a spot with wildflowers, golden fall color, or snow-covered mountain views depending on the season.
If you want something a little more dramatic, we can head toward Estes Park or Rocky Mountain National Park for bigger mountain views and a completely different feel. I’ll help you narrow down the location based on the season, how far you want to travel, and the kind of scenery you’re drawn to.
Outdoor sessions are a beautiful way to make Colorado part of the experience while still keeping the focus on you, your family, and this baby you’re waiting to meet.
Studio maternity sessions are a great option if you want a little variety without having to worry about weather or locations. We can keep things simple with jeans and a white tank, use one of the dresses from the client wardrobe, or mix a few different looks together throughout the session.
Your partner and children are always welcome too. We can create a mix of couple photos, family images, and portraits of just you, and I’ll guide everyone along the way so nothing feels stiff or overly posed. The studio is also a great option if you have an active toddler sibling who needs a little room to move, play, and take breaks safely throughout the session.
Before your session, I’ll help you figure out what to wear and what kind of look you’re drawn to so you don’t have to make all of those decisions on your own. Once you’re here, I’ll take care of the posing and help everything flow naturally.

Maternity sessions are available in a light-filled studio or outdoors throughout Fort Collins and Northern Colorado, allowing you to choose the setting that best fits your vision.
Maternity sessions are typically photographed between 28–34 weeks, when your bump is beautifully defined and movement still feels comfortable. Booking during your second trimester is recommended to ensure availability.
