After more than 15 years photographing newborns, the images I find myself drawn to most are often the simplest ones — the way your baby naturally curls into your chest, their tiny profile against you, or the way their little hand wraps around your finger. Natural & Relaxed sessions are perfect for families who love a more lifestyle feel while still wanting the ease of a studio experience. The focus is on your baby's fresh details — tiny fingers and toes, wisps of hair, sleepy expressions — along with newborn family photos that capture the way your baby fits so perfectly in your hands and arms.

Every pose and setup is guided by what your baby is comfortable with that day. Some babies love being wrapped while others settle more easily in certain poses, so I adjust the session as we go while creating a beautiful variety of styled newborn images and tiny details.

Once your due date is reserved, I'll send you a simple preparation guide so you know exactly what to expect and how to prepare. You don't need to arrive with a car full of baby things either. I provide the wraps, layers, blankets, and custom knit newborn outfits we'll use throughout your session.
I know all too well how overwhelming these first weeks can feel. Between appointments, sleepless nights, and simply learning your new baby, the last thing I want is for your newborn photos to feel like one more thing you have to plan. My goal is to make the experience as stress-free as possible, with everything prepared for you before you arrive.
The studio is kept warm and comfortable for your baby, with plenty of time for feeding, soothing, snuggling, and settling whenever it's needed. There is never a rush to get through a certain pose or setup, and I'll gently guide your family throughout the session so you can simply focus on your baby and each other.
My Loveland newborn photography studio is conveniently located near Centerra and I-25, making it an easy drive for families coming from Fort Collins and throughout Northern Colorado. With coffee, dining, shopping, and parks nearby, there are plenty of options for older siblings or a quick stop before or after your session.
I only take a limited number of newborn sessions each month so I have the flexibility to work around babies who rarely arrive exactly when expected. We'll reserve your due date during pregnancy and choose your actual session date once your baby arrives.

Most families reach out during their second or early third trimester. I reserve your session around your due date, and once your baby arrives, we'll choose the actual session date. I only take a limited number of newborns each month so I have room to work around those unpredictable arrival dates.
I typically photograph newborns within the first 7–21 days. Babies are often sleepier and naturally curled during these first few weeks, which is especially helpful if you love those sweet, posed newborn photos. If your baby is a little older, don't worry. We can still create beautiful images and simply follow what your baby is comfortable doing.
Absolutely. Family and sibling photos are included in every newborn session. I'll guide you through everything, so you don't need to know how to pose or worry about what to do in front of the camera.
That's completely okay. I never force a baby into a pose or rush through a session because they're awake. We have plenty of time for feeding, snuggling, soothing, and breaks. Some of my favorite newborn photos happen when babies are wide awake and looking right back at us.
