My favorite locations as a Denver maternity photographer
Are you pregnant and looking for the best places for maternity photos in Denver, Colorado and surrounding areas? Look no further, this will give you some amazing ideas and tips for each location that I love. These locations are perfect no matter what season it is.
1. Golden/Morrison This area offers several amazing locations for any photo session type but especially maternity photoshoots. There are so many locations within this small area that create jaw-dropping backdrops. Several locations provide backdrops including Red Rocks and the mountains. These are such iconic locations to really give that Colorado feel to your maternity photos in Denver. Weeknights are highly recommended for any session in Golden.
2. Horsetooth Reservoir in Fort Collins, Colorado A client favorite and one of mine! No matter the season, you cannot go wrong with maternity photos at Horsetooth. Snowy winter maternity photos to summer maternity photos with that perfect sunset glow off of the lake, are always stunning! It can get windy at this location so keep this in mind with dress and hair choices.
3. Devil’s Backbone in Loveland, Colorado Maternity photos at Devil’s backbone do require a small hike up to really capture the beauty of this location but it’s absolutely worth it. There are valley/front range backdrop options along with the rock formations. This location is more ideal spring thru fall due to the hike that is required.
4. Bobcat Ridge in Loveland, Colorado If you want jaw-dropping views from every possible angle, this is the location for your Denver maternity photos. You can literally step out of your car and simply turn and create the most stunning gallery of photos. This location does require a later session time to catch that perfect lighting.
5. Broomfield The last location on the best places for maternity photos in Denver provides such a beautiful view of the front range and flat irons. There is a cute bridge and open field to allow for some different looks. The open field gives such a dramatic look and allows for beautiful photos. I do prefer this location spring thru fall.
