Extended family photos in Loveland were a perfect way for this family to come together and update their photos. Everyone was in town visiting my clients from all over the states and we had the perfect evening together.
I love seeing grandparents in photos with their kids and their grandkids, the legacy unfolds in one frame. These are memories that these kids will cherish forever and be so grateful that they have something to hold onto for generations to come. Losing my last grandparent this year was so painful and I treasure every photo that I have with her and that I have of my kids with her.
I have been working with Bridgette and her family since Kennedy was a newborn and it has been so much fun to watch them grow. Meeting their extended family was so much fun and the cousins had so much fun together and talked about their upcoming trip to Disneyland.
Coordinating outfits can always get tricky for larger groups but it is really important to have a flow in the photos. I recommend picking 2-4 colors and have each family mix textures, solids and one to two people in a pattern within those colors. This allows grandpa and grandma to flow with the individual families.
I try to make sure we get as many grouping varieties and possible. Making sure each family gets a few solo photos of their crew during our time together.
Extended family photos in Loveland are offered year-round outdoors or in the studio if you are together during the cooler months. Let’s chat and plan your family’s next session here in Northern Colorado!
