Winding through rolling hills and passing by picturesque ranches nestled against the mountains, it felt like a scene straight from a movie. The warm air carried the crisp hint of fall as I cruised with my windows down, soaking in the beauty around me.

The couple had chosen a secluded pasture for their pregnancy photos, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. For miles around, it was just us and their three lovable German Shepherds. As a former vet tech, I have a special fondness for dogs, especially Shepherds, thanks to my time working with military working dogs and K-9 units. I couldn’t help but smile when the largest dog decided to sit in my lap just as I was capturing a shot of the expecting couple! Their dogs added a fun, playful energy to the otherwise serene setting. The aspens were just beginning to turn golden, adding a magical touch to the backdrop. As the sun dipped below the horizon, the sky lit up like a painting, casting a soft glow on the expecting mother. She chose two beautiful gowns from my client closet that perfectly complemented the rugged landscape. Paired with her cowgirl boots and hat, she looked absolutely stunning and so at home in this peaceful environment.
